Hollywood Bowl, which has 74 locations across the UK, has been confirmed as a new occupant of The Oracle Shopping Centre since December 2023.
The bowling centre will occupy the riverside level of the former House of Fraser department store, with work taking place to prepare it for a scheduled opening in the summer of 2025.
The latest news on the project is that Hollywood Bowl has submitted designs for what the outside of the venue will look like.
The designs show Hollywood Bowl signage at a main entrance on the outside of the centre, replacing the Yo! Sushi restaurant that occupied the House of Fraser unit until November 2023.
The former House of Fraser signs will be replaced with purple and pink branding with white lettering used by Hollywood Bowl.

The company also submitted a plan to add a digital advertising screen to the side of the former department store unit in August. However, this application was withdrawn on October 2.
Meanwhile, fellow upcoming Oracle occupant TK Maxx submitted its advertising plans on October 18.
